Culturally Speaking - When should you stop breastfeeding your man? When is it time to tell his A enough is enough? |
its really not that disgusting when you think about it, I mean c'mon its 'normal' and socially acceptable to drink cows milk but disgusting to drink from a human being? i think not. its all how u look at it really, i mean one day if i ever get married I might get curious and suck my wifes titty while shes lactating, who gives a shyt
i mean lets get real, alot of girls drink semen which is technically a bodily fluid |
Would you be uncomfortable with a man in your breastfeeding class? I have a wonderful husband and he wants to support me in every way possible during and after our pregnancy.....
But....I was told by a friend that him attending the breastfeeding class may make the other women uncomfortable. The person who signed us up for the class said that men do occasionally attend with their partner and she felt it was great for him to sign up as well.
Anyhow...I'm just trying to get a poll of if what my friend thought was true or if my husband attending the class would be peachy with my fellow attendees.
Thanks :) |
Having your husband attend is a WONDERFUL idea, as breastfeeding is demanding and much, much more likely to be successful with great support!
Skip this question and bring him! :) Anyone that has a problem with him being there should politely excuse themselves. He has every right to be there (and should be there), it's his baby too. :) |
Would you quit breastfeeding your baby if men said they didn't like it? or that they won't like your bewbs anymore. |
| WTF NO WAY! |
Is it safe to chemically straighten your hair while breastfeeding? Wanting to chemically straighten my hair again now that I'm no longer pregnant but was wondering if it's safe to do while breastfeeding? My little man is 10 days old and I was hoping to have my hair straight for my 21st next week, just dont want to do anything that could harm my little angel.
Thanks in advance |
| I was told by my dr that it was ok for me to dye or straighten my hair while pregnant. But yes I have had my hair done after giving birth while breastfeeding and my boys are both fine. Just give a quick call to the dr if you arent sure about it. |
What happens to your breast when you start breastfeeding? I heard that they get big, then they sag.... your thoughts, men and women. Just curious. I know that it's best for the baby, but please tell me...what happens to them. |
| Mine are the same as before. They do get larger when I am pregnant by one size usually, then they get bigger when the baby starts to eat. About 2 months of nursing and they seem to be down a bit in size. I have a rather ample bust size anyway so it is not like I was "perky" to begin with. I will say that the most disconcerting thing to me regarding my breasts while nursing is that I have never found a good nursing bra that lifts me up. When I was done nursing with my daughter my boobs just went back to normal. Hope that this is helpful. |
Is it possible for men to suck on your nipples during breastfeeding period? is it possible or it will be too wet and milky? |
LOL, sorry to laugh but I have been faced with this very same thing before and I hope I can help you answer. Do it after you feed and pump out the rest. That is what did it for me.
Now, some men don't mind at all and actually like it while others are just disgusted by the whole thing. You will just have to see with your own. But, once again I found that feeding the baby and then pumping made things going very smooth for me.
Good luck. ^^ |
What is your opinion on breastfeeding in public? And in other situations like at a meal in your own home where extended family are present (i.e. grandparents, cousins, siblings and their partners). I feel that a breastfeeding mother should not be made to sit in a room alone and be excluded. I see that some people, particularly the older generation and men, can be uncomfortable seeing it. However isn't there a way it can be made more discrete so that the breast is hidden? There must be some kind of compromise. Any thoughts appreciated. |
I had a series of breastfeeding tops made especially for these situations. Most are very discrete. With one of these tops and a lightweight blanket, my guys and I were very well concealed. Mind you, I did not make a public display of myself either; I tried to find discrete areas without ostracizing myself (like choosing a table toward the back of a restaurant rather than one near an entrance). In my own home, however, I was a bit freer -- since it was MY home after all. If someone came to visit, they usually just had to deal with it. When I would visit others, say Thanksgiving at my brother's, I would opt for a room that was not as frequently traveled without tucking myself away in a bedroom. If anyone was offended, they could move to another room. Usually, most of my family was OK with it, even though I was the only one in my family that ever chose breastfeeding as an option.
Check eBay for breastfeeding tops and blouses. You can't go wrong with buying several of these (I had 10 that I rotated thru the wash). When you find a style that works best for you, pick up a couple extra in different colors. I even found a couple beautiful dresses that I wore to church on Sundays. |
If your man had a pair of fully functioning boobs would you...? Let him breastfeed your guy? Me and my partner were discussing it earlier and he said he would. I thought yeah, then he can do the night feeds lol. I was a bottle feeding mum, but did give breastfeeding a go, and my partner always has said he would want to breastfeed if he could.
Would your partner do it? (Ask him I dare you, will probably be a very strange conversation)
Would you let your partner do it? |
| Sure! As long as Daddy milk was as good as Mommy milk is! |
